Microstation Tips and Tricks: Combine Key-ins Tutorial
You can use the up and down scroll keys to retrieve recently used key-ins. You can also combine key-ins on one line if they are separated with a semi-colon. So, for example, if you are about to open a number of drawings and correct some view settings prior to printing, it may be worth combining the commands:
set level 2 off;selview 1;set ed off;selview 1; etc.The above key-in combines a command to switch level 2 off with another to switch edit data fields off. The 'selview' command performs the view selection. Crucially, when the next drawing is opened, you can scroll up to this key-in and perform the whole operation again.
